Rules of Changing Address

Situation Regulator Notes
Transition from rented house to owner house
  • Proof of ownership
  • Bring Last electricity bill, Name included
  • Change all members of family addresses, including house keepers
  • Proof from electricity stating leaving previous address
 
Transition from owner house to another owner house
  • proof of ownership
  • Bring Last electricity bill, Name included
  • Change all members of family addresses, including house keepers
  • Electricity bill, included the house owner name
Do not changing your address until one month at least.
Transition from owner house to rented house or relatives house
  • Show a proof of leaving current resident (sale, demolition, construction or renovation ...... etc.)
  • Show the new house rental lease under your name or any Family members.
  • A proof of the relationship between each family
  • Bring Last electricity bill, Name included
  • Change all members of family addresses
 
Transition from rented house to other rented house
  • Show the new house lease with last electricity bill modified as the current tenant
  • Demonstrate disclaimer for old electricity bill addresses
 
Changing wife address to her husband Or vice versa
  • Proffer marriage contract
  • Demonstrate the consent of the father of the wife in the case of husband transmission
 
Transition from government house to other house
  • Proffer the approval of ministry of housing
  • Proffer the new ownership housing or rented contract
  • Show the new electricity bill address
 
Change wife address from husband address to father or relatives address.
  • Proffer the divorce contract
  • Demonstrate the approval from relatives to sign the adoption of the owner address or a letter signed by the owner of the address with a copy of the CPR
 
Change the child address or one of them.
  • Does not change, except in the case of marriage or if they have their special address after the proof in terms of ownership or rented contract with proof
 
Only the husband transition from government house to another
  • Proffer the approval of ministry of housing
  • Proffer the divorce contract
  • Proffer the judgment of the Court to allocate the house for the wife and children
  • proffer the current residence by contract or approval of the owner of the new address if he is a relative
 
Only the husband transition to one of his wives
  • Proffer marriage contract
  • Proffer the approval from the owner address if his wife in her father or relative house
 
The husband transition with his wives and children to one of his wives house.
  • The approval from her wife that she is the owner of the house
  • Proffer disclaimer for the previous address
  • Proffer marriages contracts for his wives
 
In the case of the transfer of his wives from rented house to owner house.
  • Proof of ownership
  • proffer disclaimer for the previous address
  • Proffer marriages contracts for his wives
  • Show his own electricity bill
 
Important notes :

First: Do not accept the customary marriage or sundered marriage.

Second: Do not accept a change of address in the following cases.

  • If the address is related to relatives
  • If there is no electricity consumption by invoice issued in the new address
  • If the rented house is for the renter not for lessor
  • If there is no capacity for all people that registered in same address , that’s mean 15 people registered in same address)
  • If the address is in the address system that is not for living
  • If the address temporary
  • If you do not specify an electricity system in any house address / housing provider of electricity and water
  • If you do not have any benefit from the Ministry of Housing for any service from their services (voucher, a loan to build, buy, customize flat) and be equipped with water and electricity
